The Eagles is a 16th Century Inn situated in Rhayader town next to the River Wye with the picturesque Elan Valley just 5 minutes drive away. There are plenty of outdoor activities including cycle paths, walking, pony trekking and the Red Kite feeding centre with the Elan Valley Dams short drive away.The Royal Welsh Showground at Builth Wells is 14 miles away. Famous Rhayader Carnival is on the Second Week Of July.

In The pub itself, there is a large beer garden overlooking to the River Wye with patio area.

There are four well designed rooms available B&B accommodation for our guests with a full menu available lunchtime and evenings.

Excellent fishing throughout the area and we have a private 3/4 mile stretch of the River which is only usable by guests. This area has not been fished for almost 50 years and will be open for April 2007.
